racetrack: Checks identifying features, such as tattooed
registration nmuber on lip and physical appearance with official
records and photographs to ensure only horses scheduled to race
are permitted in paddock. Releases identifeid horses to handlers
for transfer to paddock for saddling. Notifies track officials
when doubt exists as to horses' identity. Records physical
changes in horses, such as weight increase or scar received
since last inspection, to keep identification records current.
